Revival!!!

Decided to start blogging again since this is like the 'in' thing now and I should be 'in'.

Just finished the takraw semis match. Yes, we lost. I was so hoping that I could take an IH medal just before I graduate but I like to think that everyone in the team has tried their best and we conceded the game to a better team. We had training for almost everyday since our quarters win and it is no shame as we have surpassed even our own expectations from the start.

This marks the end of my participation of IH in Hall 5. Looking back, things have changed. Participation rates have fallen, trainings are frequently cancelled due to lack of numbers and people's attitude have changed. I do not wish to elaborate much.

I have tried my best. Have you?

okie...ive uploaded some photos of mathew's bday and my xi an trip... i noe i noe...its been v long since my xi an trip... well... cos ive been busy playing...hahahahahahah...

oh...jus to update u on whr ive gone during this MIA period...heh... i went suzhou, zhou zhuang- some water village...ulu ulu one..., went to see flowers exhibition... quite boring...haha...n i spent some money on de entrance fee... tmd....

i will be going to nanjing this coming weekend... and for my may holidays i will be gg to hainan... and some other places... havent decided yet... but probab;y xiamen... y... cos i have a v v long labour day....haha... from 27 apr to 7 may... hehe... gd huh...

i will try to upload more photos when i am free la... promise.. hehe...

Hi peeps, I having been updating my blog due to many many reasons... like going out, playing soccer, KTV and many other activities...hahaha... No la, I tried to update a few times at home but could not upload any pics cos the connection was too slow... So bo bian... Can only update at my office...haha... Eveyone having meeting now except me... so mai tu liao

Anyway, de NUS peeps organised a combined outing to Huang Shan from the 9th Feb to 11th Feb. Almost 30 ppl took part. We took a 7hrs bus ride from Shanghai city to Huang Shan Tourists Centre. Den have to change another bus to get to it. You can either choose to take cable car to halfway up de mountain... Or climb up all the way... Of cos i climbed up la... If not i come for wat... haha... But it was very very tiring... We took about 8 hours (cant really remember, but ard there la) to reach to the top... its jus climb n climb all the way la...

Some of the NUS peeps conquered Huang Shan before and they led us to the different peaks there... Got... I forgot all the names... haha... but its not important la...haha... The view is really breathtaking... Anyway we stayed overnight at some motel i think... and the temperature was about -10 degrees celcius at night... cold... Brr...

The next day we explored more of Huang Shan... I found out that it actually has a canyon too... Fall down confirm gone one...haha... And still got some other peaks... Nice view la...but all stones lei... Abit sian of stones by den le...haha...

Yup... Dats all of Huang Shan... A bit short i noe... but i cant really tell u everything... u shd come see it for yourself...

Oh... Anyway the Chinese sentence at de top is supposedly said by Jin Yong... de one who wrote all those Xiao Long Nu... those novel... It means Huang Shan is the most beautiful mountain compared to the 'Wu Yue' (Hua Shan and some other 4 mountains). The full definition of it can be found at baidu... jus cut n paste... But I think its quite true ba cos i went Hua Shan when I was in Xi An... but thats another story for another day...

Harrow everybody... was busy with work and playing so din really have much time to blog... anyway i will try to update week by week ba... dunno if i can recall everything... but i will try



Week 1: Just arrived in shanghai... and its really cold... maybe not for the shanghainese... but its cold to me... had some briefing from the GIP office in shanghai here on the first day and den went to buy some necessities from carrefour... den explore ard my house here lo... nothing much... its quiet... v quiet... but its good...cos its really noisy in china...



since its the first week and my ia doesnt start till 2nd wk, i took the opportunity to try to explore as much of shanghai as possible... on the second day me, mathew n his roommate went to the CBD area of shanghai... where?? tell u u oso dunno... come visit me den i bring u there...haha... went to the bund and the Yu Garden...where the xiao long bao is famous... den we went nanjing dong lu to walk... which is like orchard rd...except its very very very very very long... the nanjing lu has 6-7 mrt train stations!! i cant really rem everywhr i went now le...haha...go see de pics ba..i will try to update de pics also...for the rest of the wk... err... i bit forgot le...haha... oh i went to de bund again... its the place along the Huang Pu river which was controlled by the French b4 it was returned to china... nothing really much there... except for the night view


Week 2, 3, 4: Start of IA!! Who heard of Industrial engineer(IE) before?? i din... their job is to determine the 'wastefulness' of the manufacturing process of optic cable...quite alien to me... anyway it took me 2 wks to understand roughly the concept and read up on some short articles... IE is a 4 yr course in china... and i have 2 weeks... &%#^^&@#


but its ok la... my colleagues are ard my age...older of cos...about 24-27 like dat..n they r fun ppl...haha... dunno how to say...but they r fun... enjoyed working with them... no pt telling u all the details of my work rite?? quite boring...
anyway time really passes very fast over here... its been 1 month already... so me n my roommates decided to meet up everyday after work to explore a diff part of shanghai... so far its been fun for me...


oh...i forgot to mention abt de clubbing.... haha... the shanghainese gals really will approach guys one lo...and they r pretty enuff without makeup... imagine with makeup... haha... vince...come experience it for urself... haha

but the gals here r also v fierce... dun ever disturb any gal on de street... they can really quarrel well... i nv try b4 la...n i dun dare ...haha

anyway i think dats abt all... if u wanna noe anything ask me online ba...
